General Background Information
Sexual Assault Prevention is a separate course that focuses on issues associated with stalking, interpersonal violence, and sexual assault. It helps you learn about consent, how to help a friend and how to safely intervene in a potentially dangerous situation. All students admitted to CSU, regardless of age or online status, are required to complete this course.
We recognize the college experience is more than academics. The people you live with, social interactions and co-curricular activities all play an important role in shaping your time on campus. Our goal is to ensure that all CSU students have positive and safe educational and social experiences.
The Sexual Assault Prevention program is part of CSU’s comprehensive approach to sexual assault education. This program provides a clear understanding of consent. It will also provide you with our campus expectations, which are designed to foster a safe place to live and learn.
Requirements
New CSU Students are required to take the Sexual Assault Prevention course.
All new and incoming students (both online and main campus) are required to take the sexual assault prevention module.
***Please note that CSU does not accept course completions from previous institutions.***
The Sexual Assault Prevention program has two parts. Part 1 takes approximately an hour to complete. The program does not require a passing score, but you must complete all modules. An incomplete program will result in a registration hold until the program is completed. The deadline for the program is the first day of classes of your entry term (i.e. Fall, Spring). If it is not completed by the deadline, registration hold(s) will be placed on your account. Once Part 1 of the course is completed, your hold will be removed.
You will receive an e-mail invite for Part 2 of the course six weeks after completing Part 1.

Troubleshooting
The Vector Training Platform is a web-based program that is accessible with an Internet connection 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Platform is compatible with all recent versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Explorer, Safari, iOS, and Android. Despite our optimal accessibility, occasionally users may experience difficulty loading their training. These issues are typically device-specific and can be resolved using the troubleshooting tips below. Feel free to share these tips with any users in your organization.
If you are accessing training from a computer:
1. Restart your browser. Note: On a Mac you’ll need to fully quit the browser.
2. Make sure you are using a recent version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Safari. If you have any pending updates, they may need to be completed to move forward with training.
3. Clear your browser’s cache & cookies, which are typically located under your browser’s history settings.
4. It is possible that device-specific browser extensions and/or pop-up blockers may be interfering with your training. Try accessing the training from another browser to rule out this possibility.
If you are accessing training from a mobile device:
Our system is compatible with many mobile devices; however, some users may have personal configurations that prevent certain courses from loading. Additionally, some custom and policy courses are best displayed on a computer. If you are experiencing difficulty loading our training on a personal device, try accessing the courses through a laptop or desktop computer.
